Mountain Use & Safety

Organization accessories are one part of preparation. They do not replace instruction, appropriate protective equipment, or the rules of the mountain.

Before you ski

Follow the actual manufacturer's instructions for skis, boots, bindings, and protective equipment. Have equipment adjusted by an appropriately qualified professional where required. Check resort notices, weather, terrain restrictions, and your own ability before starting.

Carrying and lift access

Remove storage covers, transport ties, and carrying loops before skiing. Keep loose straps clear of lifts, machinery, bindings, and moving equipment. Secure equipment during walking and avoid obstructing other people. Do not use a carrying accessory to tow or lift a person.

Understand the product's role

Bags, pouches, pass holders, and organizers are convenience accessories. They are not personal protective equipment, avalanche rescue equipment, climbing equipment, vehicle restraints, or flotation devices. Do not infer certification, a rated load, or protective performance from a generated image.

Travel and storage

Check the rules of your transport provider and use suitable restraints approved for the journey. A shoulder strap is not automatically suitable for securing equipment to a roof rack. Dry equipment before storage and inspect closures and handles before carrying it.

When something is wrong

Stop using damaged equipment or an accessory that no longer holds its load securely. Contact support for a product issue; for an urgent situation at a resort, follow the resort's emergency arrangements. This page provides general reminders and does not assess a specific slope, route, or user's ability.
