Care & Storage

Small habits keep a ski-trip packing routine orderly. Always follow the care instructions supplied with the actual item.

After the mountain

Empty bags, sleeves, and pouches and remove loose snow and debris gently. Let damp equipment and storage items dry separately in a ventilated place. Avoid sealing moisture inside a case or leaving a loaded bag in a warm vehicle.

Clean with care

Use the product label to determine appropriate cleaning. Do not assume machine washing, tumble drying, bleaching, solvents, or hot-water cleaning are permitted. Start with gentle removal of loose debris; ask for guidance if the material and care method are not confirmed.

Check the working parts

Inspect zippers, straps, stitching, clips, and handles before loading. Keep zipper paths free of packed snow. Do not force a closure around equipment that does not fit. Stop using an item if a load-bearing part is damaged.

Protect your equipment

Follow the ski and goggle manufacturers' storage guidance. Avoid placing sharp edges or heavy objects against lenses or soft organizers. A goggle sleeve or case does not establish a certified impact rating. Store equipment where it cannot fall, block an exit, or be reached by an unsupervised child.

Between trips

Store clean, dry items away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Keep small removable parts together. Recheck fit and condition at the start of the next trip. Email service@urbanlivot.com with the item name when you need product-specific guidance.
